School Wide Rules:
1. Follow all teachers directions promptly.
2. Speak only when given permission.
3. Speak in a quiet and respectful voice.
4. Stay in your assigned area.
5.Stay on task to complete assignments.
Behavior Plan: Students use colors to keep track of daily student behavior.
Green means your 2nd grader is having a great day and is following all expectations.
Blue means your 2nd grader needed 1-2 warnings about following one of our expectations.
Yellow means your 2nd grader needed multiple warnings about following one or more expectations. He/she had a classroom "time out" to think about how to change the behavior.
Red means your 2nd grader really had an off day. He/she continued not to follow expectations and had a "time out" in another classroom to think about how to change the behavior.
Problem Solving Strategies: Students are encouraged to go through 3 steps to solve the problem independently if possible.
1. Tell the person what they are doing that is bothering you.
2. Tell the person why that behavior bothers you.
3. If the problem still isn't solved, get an adult to help you solve your problem.
Rewards!
Students have the opportunity to earn different rewards for following classroom expectations:
Incentives:
Students who follow directions, stay on task, and puts their best effort forward will earn an incentive at the end of the week.
Table Points:
Students will earn table points by working as a team to follow expectations daily. The table with the most points at the end of the week will earn a prize.
